2010 3. Audubon Zoo (12/22/2010)

Wednesday, December 22, 2010
John James Audubon, the artist and naturalist, stands in front of the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans.
He is controversial with birders, as he shot the birds so that they would stand still for his drawing of them. This statue actually shows Audubon with a powder horn.
